Youth Making Moves

Salutations Readers!

I am Chelsea J and welcome to the Summer Issue of the P.R.E.T.T.Y. Pioneer Newsletter!

Happy Summer Ya’ll! Summer is one of my favorite times of the year! Summer Blockbusters, Pool Parties, Cookouts, and most of all NO SCHOOL! All of us, are graduating to a new dimension, we (the next generation) are taking this World by Storm! So this Summer Special is dedicated to YOU! One of a kind youth, who are making moves with the gifts you all have been blessed with. I wanted to put the spotlight on a friend of mine who is an artist, who is broadening her artistic takeover! I interviewed Milan Ayala to get inside the mind of a fellow creative flower.

Milan has been interested in art, since the tender age of 5, her first drawing being that of the Animated Girl-Power Infused Power Puff Girls! When asked, what inspires Milan to paint; Milan says that she is inspired by “many different aspects including music, family, and many other artists who I build off of.” Milan’s creative formula behind her paintings draws such class and simplicity which is easy to see within her work ethic. “I usually begin with a reference when starting a piece, using vibrant colors and soft tones to bring out the picture. I try to find different ways to execute my art pieces in order to give them a sense of variety and feeling.”

This P.R.E.T.T.Y. Pioneer has big plans for the future when it comes to a career in art. “I would love to pursue a career in illustration/character design and animation! Watching animated movies/shows as a child has been one of the biggest inspirations for me to pursue art. It would be fantastic if I had my own art gallery!” Milan is most definitely a Youth Making Moves! If you or someone you know would like a logo or painting designed by Milan please e-mail [email protected]
